I am pretty satisfied with the product. I decided to order despite the previous negative reviews. The product came in excellent condition and the build/construction is solid and sturdy. I am converting a Studio Trends 24" sidecar into a compact workstation. This desk comes with rack rails in the front. I purchased additional 4U rack rails from Raxxess to mount the sliding keyboard shelf in the rear as well as the front. The sliding keyboard shelf is a tight fit, I have to turn it on its side in order to maneuver the shelf into place. The mouse shelf needs padding. I bought a thick mouse pad from Office Max and cut the pad to the exact specifications of the mouse tray and it ended up fitting perfectly with the top of the pad meeting the top of the rails of the mouse tray. The product comes with extension rails and some screws/washers. Overall, for my needs, this was a good purchase for the price. I did not need a hacksaw to make this fit my rack (although if you need this to fit a 4 point rack, you may need to hacksaw the extension rails to get a good fit). The product fits 1U, but needs extra space underneath for the mouse tray, so you need to reserve another 1U for the tray. This does not take 3U-4U as other reviewers mentioned, unless if they had an issue with the top of the sliding keyboard shelf hitting up against other equipment as it does slightly bleed into the upper 1U. For my desk, this wasn't a problem.
