Murata exemplifies the long tradition of creating Japanese quality micro batteries with high performance and reliability
I hate to give a Murata battery two stars because they are excellent cells and this one in particular is a bit better than many other brands. Like others, however, I received cells that were just 7 months from their package date. These should have about three years shelf life when manufactured, and even in ideal storage conditions they will have lost something from 20-30 percent of their capacity along with a drop in voltage delivery by the time that shelf date rolls around. If your device isn't particularly needy about current then these are still useable. I bought from Mybatterysupplier because I have used them in the past and gotten great stuff. Seems like their stock in amazon for this product is stale, though. I will try to reorder again from a different seller and hope that they aren't all pulled from the same bin at the warehouse. Normally five star cells, just check your date upon receipt and consider if it's ok.EDIT: Ordered a second time from seller Galtex...received the same bad 11/2022 date, returned them to Amazon. I'll have to shop locally to buy them fresh or within a reasonable shelf date, I guess.I passed over cheaper cells, thinking that these Murata batteries would likely be higher quality that those selling at about 1/4 the price. I was disappointed to find that the cells I received have a "Use by" (sometime referred to as "shelf life") date of 11/2022. With typical shelf life for silver oxide cells being 36 months (high quality cells can be significantly more), the cells I got have only about 40% of the typical shelf life left. I'm left to conclude that these were manufactured some time ago, and are not fresh at all. The product details include the phrase "excellent self-discharge performance" ... the performance is apparently in its last act.Amazon should require posting of "Use by" dates for this sort of product. Guess I'll have to find out if they'll take a return.Great batteriesGood valueOld batteries with best by date of 11/2022. Sold by MYBATTERYSUPPLIER shipped by amazon.Packed well, arrived well. Used to change an RTC battery.Good batteries like silver oxide preferred over alkaline. Should last a long while.Llegaron muy bien empacadas y antes de tiempo. Las baterías estupendas. Esta marca nunca me han fallado. Las seguiré comprando.Funcionó perfectamente bien mi cámara. Gracias.
